Gotta love that booty. The 3 gets a bad rap for its cartoony front end, but it has such a lovely side and 3/4 profile. I think it does the hatch shape best.

The first gen 5-door was a work of art, but I still can’t quite warm up on the later ones.

Seriously, 1st gen was a tough act to follow.
That said, I never found the 2nd gen terribly offensive, still a very attractive design.
